Heatcraft offers a comprehensive range of hermetic compressors, sourced from vendors such as Kulthorn Kirby, Danfoss Maneurop, Tecumseh and Copeland. We have the ability to tailor a compressor specification to suit an OEM requirement, and to offer an aftermarket replacement for almost any situation. Our experience in the design and application of hermetic compressors sets us apart from any other wholesaler in this country.
 Hanbell RC2 Screw Compressor
With its small footprint, the Hanbell Screw Compressor provides an efficient means of compressing refrigerant in larger applications.
The RC2 model has a wide operating envelope, designed to cover low, medium and high temperature applications using R134a and other refrigerants. With very few moving parts, the Hanbell Screw Compressor offers excellent reliability.
Operating at 2800 rpm, the Hanbell Screw is more cost effective than larger reciprocating semi-hermetic compressors. It offers higher operating efficiencies, compared to reciprocating or scroll compressor technologies.
A highly efficient motor allows optimum output, no matter what running capacity the compressor is set at. This results in a high displacement of refrigerant, energy efficiency and lower running costs. Hanbell uses long life bearings for higher levels of reliability.
Semi-Hermetic Compressors
Semi-hermetic compressors offer a greater level of rugged reliability when applied to tough applications, such as those involving long pipe runs or short cycling times. We can offer compressors from Dorin or Copeland, and we stock a wide range of models.
Dorin compressors now give you the option of utilising inverter (variable speed) operation, and for some applications this will optimise efficiency and maximise compressor life.
